COVID PASSPORT - (will be requested from Friday 3rd Dec)

From 13th December 2021 we are all legally required to adhere to the NI Executive regulations which apply to us as a licenced premises operating a bar / restaurant.  

We are now in a 2 week grace period for preparation. 

Please be prepared to show one of the following when asked. 

Proof of valid vaccination by way of Electronic or Paper Certificate. (verified as belonging to you via photographic ID) (EU/GB also acceptable)  

Proof of recovery from a positive PCR test in the previous 30 -180 days (verified as belonging to you via photographic ID). 

Proof of a negative rapid flow test taken within 48 hours of attending the bar/restaurant with the result via e-mail or text registered through the NHS website. (verified as belonging to you via photographic ID) 

Any other valid relevant medical exemption documentation or participation in clinical trial. 

As with previous COVID regulations you are legally required to wear a mask when not seated in bar /restaurant. 

Our staff have been so helpful in these difficult times, with so many changes in regulations and requirements. Remember that they carry out these tasks on behalf of you the members, your family, friends and guests. We would ask all members to support our staff discharging their duties and show respect at all times. 

The Council, Ladies’ and Men’s Committees and members of Cushendall Golf Club deeply regret the sad passing of past Lady Captain Noelle Macaulay. Our deepest sympathies go her children Mark, Cormac, Gavin, Suzanne and Louise and to the wider Macaulay family circle.

Noelle was Lady Captain in 1989.  She was a dedicated, enthusiastic and proud long-time member and supporter of our Club. We will remember Noelle for her vivacious personality and her loving and caring nature. We will not forget her amazing talent when she entertained us with her hilarious stories, sketches and jokes on many a night of fun in the Clubhouse.  Noelle will be sadly missed.

The 2021 golfing season is now over but the work continues behind the scenes in our club.  The volunteers who regularly work with our Juniors, our Club Children's Officer (CCO) and Designated Liason Person (DLP) are going to be attending online workshops in the next couple of months to make ensure that the safety, welfare and wellbeing of our Junior members is maintained. 

Upcoming online workshops include - 

Safeguarding 1 Workshop: Mon 8^thNovember or Mon 22^ndNov 7-10pm 

This is for those working regularly with Juniors and CCO and DLP.

Safeguarding 2 Workshop for the CCO – Wed 24^thNov 6.30-9.30pm 

Safeguarding 3 for the DLP – Wed 1^stDec 6.30-9.30pm
