Local Rules

Local Rules are on the back of the scorecard and published in both locker rooms.

Additional Local Rules:

1.   IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS:

(a)           The D.O.E markers on the 2^nd (11^th), 3^rd (12^th) and 4^th (13th) holes.

(b)           The old entrance wall near the 6^th (15^th) boundary.

(c)            The fences at the rear of the 2^nd (11^th) tees.

(d)           Steps on tees.

Relief is one club length from the nearest point of relief.

2.   NEWLY  PLANTED TREES

Lift and drop one club length from the nearest point of relief. Not nearer the hole, without penalty.

3.   EMBEDDED BALL

Through the green, a ball that is embedded in its own pitch-mark in the ground may be lifted, without penalty, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to where it lay but not nearer the hole. The ball when dropped must first strike a part of the course through the green.

“Through the green” is the whole of the course except;

1. The teeing ground and putting green of the hole being played;
2. All hazards on the course.

4. STONES IN BUNKERS are movable obstructions.  Rule 24 – 1 applies.

(Please remove stones to areas where they will not damage machinery).
