Alex McCambridge tonight put his name into the history books of Cushendall Golf Club by winning The Charles McAuley Cup, 72 Hole Stroke competition.
What an achievement ! At 19 years of age he is one to watch for the future... you saw it here first!
It was a tough weeks golfing, finishing up late on Friday in the failing light and descending fog in front of a crowd of spectators. Captain Trevor presented the trophy.
Thanks to everyone who made the event possible, in particular our Grounds Team and of course a massive shout out to Alastair Darragh for keeping everyone on track

The Charles McAuley Cup - Final on Friday 25 June
The final day's action starts at 5pm.
Come and watch from the course or club house - the players will need your support.
The bar will be open as usual and you might even want to book into our restaurant Nineteen Thirty Eight
