Hole 6 (Islay) - 240 Metres, Par 4

With the O.O.B road and tall mature trees tight to the left of the tee and all the way down to the invisible green, the tee shot must be placed down the right side where there is plenty of room - although much of it is rough.  Again the big hitters can try for the green but two strategically placed bunkers in the landing area and the O.O.B left make it advisable to be more cautious.  Newly planted trees in the rough down the right can lead to problems off a big, wayward drive, but an easy short iron 2nd shot leads to a green which slopes from front to back and is bunkered on the right.  The boundary fence runs tight behind the green.  This is the first hole in which the river does not come in to play.
