Hole 2 (Lurigedan) - 162 Metres, Par 3

With a S.I. 13 this is the most deceptive hole on the course as the computer printouts show it to be the 3rd hardest! From an elevated tee the shot is across the river with carry all the way to a green on a small plateau.  The boundary hedge is close behind the green to trap the overhit shot and anything short finishes in awkward rough on the front of the steep slope leading up to the level.  Depending on weather conditions the tee shot can vary from an 8 iron to a good 2 wood! The motto here is (a) get over the river (b) at least be on the top of the plateau.
