On Friday 2nd October 2026, Cushendall Golf Club held an evening in celebration of Golf Ireland President, and honoured club member, Fiona Delargy.

After a lovely introduction from Captain Trevor, President Cathy and few anecdotes from Brid about Fiona and the journey to her year as President, Fiona gave a wonderful, heart-felt response.

A few laughs along with a few tears... and did the gathered ensemble finish with a rendition of 'The Green Glens of Antrim’... well of course they did !

Congratulations to Fiona once again... we are all proud of you and thank you for being such a great ambassador for Cushendall Golf Club as well as for Golf Ireland.

Great Club, Great People, and a President of Ireland... well a President of Golf Ireland!

Why not consider joining our club?

Great camaraderie, great socials, great bar, great events and, most of all, great people!

We would love to meet you.
