This year, we will have four competitions running in the Autumn: the Knocknacarry Cup, the Autumn Trophy, the Ardclinis Cup and the Scratch Cup. Remember you must have someone to sign you card when you are playing in these competitions.
A draw will be done for the Knocknacarry Cup for all those players with a handicap of 36 or below. This competition will be played as matchplay and should finish by the 1st November 2013.
The Autumn Trophy is a Stableford competition for everyone and will be played on the 01 November 2013.
The Ardclinis Trophy is the longest running trophy, finishing at Easter. Players of all handicaps may play in this competition, and it involves each player handing in a total of five cards between now and Easter. There will be prizes for the best card and there will be prizes for the best two, three, four and five cards collectively. Entry into this competition costs £1 – it is to be paid by using an envelope in the locker room office and putting your name and the competition on the front of it; then post it into the box below the computer.
The Scratch Cup will also be played over the autumn. It is a stroke competition open to those players with handicaps of 36 or below. This competition involves handing in two cards by the 01 November 2013; you may use your two Ardclinis Trophy cards in this competition, provided the cards have no “dings”. Remember in stroke you must finish out each hole!
